You did it! Amazing!
Unofficial final results from Multnomah County Elections shows our campaign winning the race for City Hall Position No. 1, with 44.79 percent of the vote. That’s ahead of four other candidates including the incumbent!
Those numbers are strong enough to force a two-way runoff in the November general election.
For now, all I can say is: thank you to all the people who voted. Thank you to everyone who runs for office, and who participates in making the system work. And thank you to our army of fantastic volunteers!
Today is election day!
Today is the day that all of our terrific volunteers have worked for. All the phone calls. All the doors knocked on. All the fund-raising. All the lawn signs planted. All the mornings waving banners and cheering commuters.
It all comes together today. And I can’t thank our great team of volunteers enough.
Thank you!
There will be an election-night party at The North Star Ballroom, 635 N.Killingsworth Court.
